Edinburgh's ONE Spa has developed a comprehensive fitness programme designed to take any runner from amateur to amazing. Run by ONE Spa's Personal Fitness Instructors, all aspects of health and wellbeing are considered from fitness and diet to motivation and lifestyle.
The specialist programme begins in ONE Spa's state-of-the-art gym with a health and fitness assessment, which includes blood pressure, cardiovascular efficiency, strength and lifestyle review. The fitness team will then develop a customised exercise and lifestyle programme, designed to develop the member's fitness at a comfortable rate. Once in the zone, members are encouraged to join the affiliated RUN 4 IT running group. The programme brings together runners of different capabilities to train for Jog Scotland's 5km and 10km runs or the 42km marathon, all along various running routes throughout the city.
